We deliver shipping containers, container homes, pools, domes and equipment to every state and territory. Here’s how shipping container delivery works and how to get your site ready.

How much does shipping container delivery cost?

Freight depends on how far your site is from our nearest depot and how easy it is to get in. We quote every delivery individually so you only pay for what your job needs. Send your postcode and a couple of photos of the site to sales@mrfequipments.com.au and we’ll get back to you, usually the same day.

Tilt tray or side loader?

Tilt tray trucks slide the container off the back onto the ground. They’re great for 10ft and 20ft containers and need a clear, straight run behind the truck – roughly twice the container’s length plus the truck – with no low branches or power lines.

Side loaders lift the container off the side of the trailer and set it down beside the truck. They’re the usual choice for 40ft containers and for placing a container exactly where you want it. They need room alongside the truck for the stabiliser legs.

Getting your site ready

• Firm, level ground – compacted gravel, concrete or sleepers work well
• Clear access for the truck, with no soft ground after rain
• Enough overhead clearance for the container to tip or lift
• Blocks or sleepers under each corner so the doors open and shut properly
• Someone on site to show the driver where it goes

Picking up from a depot

You’re welcome to collect from Sydney, Banyo (Brisbane), Sunshine (Melbourne) or Albany WA. Bring a suitable truck or trailer and we’ll load it for you. Please email ahead so we can have your order ready.
